3. Sesame Street gently taught respect for others
and appreciation of their differences. I'd be willing to bet the Sesame Street generation tends to support gay marriage.

7. It's still funny as hell.
I imagine a lot of people weren't too happy with the religiously insane (or their parasitic handlers) when they went after Bert and Ernie.

Except for the KKKids who were raised as white-trash, neo Nazis, every one I've ever met under the age of 30 has the attitude of "What's the big deal?".

There's a serious disconnect in our society when 80% of us are talking about the economy and making enough to feed our kids and 20% are obsessed with what teh Mo's are doing in the bedroom.

I love Mr. Fish yet I haven't laughed out loud to one of his toons in ages. He's usually kinda darkly absurd. This one made me guffaw and that's rare for me when it comes to this cartoonist.
