MSNBC is going high-def
http://www.upi.com/Entertainment_News/2009/04/02/MSNBC-is-going-high-def/UPI-60101238701191/

WASHINGTON, April 2 (UPI) -- MSNBC says it will begin telecasting in 1080i High Definition starting June 29.

The announcement was made Thursday at the Cable Show in Washington, D.C., by MSNBC President Phil

Griffin. "MSNBC is in the best competitive place its ever been, beating CNN in prime time last month and continuing incredible growth," Griffin said.

"Broadcasting in HD is only going to help us build on the great success we've had so far this year, and will give viewers what they've been asking for, a full high definition broadcast of MSNBC."

7. Yesterday I dropped my HD on Dish
I'm blind in one eye and can't see out of the other and I really can't tell the difference. Save 5 or 10 bucks a week.

16. HDTV is capable of "theater-quality" audio

The non-HD channels here with cable sound like a transistor radio compared to the HD ones.

Or at least the 16 : 9 version. I don't really care so much about the resolution as much as the aspect ratio.

p.s. someone tell Rachel to fix the aspect ratio on her in studio monitor for guests... it's getting irritating seeing all of her guests in Dwarf-vision (tm) during the studio shots.
