The New York Jokes Are Sick. SACK THE AIRFORCE MEMBERS THAT AGREED THE FLYOVER
Edited on Mon Apr-27-09 11:07 PM by TheBigotBasher
To be joking about this is sick.

For the Military to be taking photo shoots of a duplicate Air Force One Flying low by towers in New York is sick. How many pictures of Air Force One are already in existence?

This video shows REAL fear. REAL Terror and those mocking New Yorkers for it are SICK.

Some idiot needs an arse kicking for this.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jn0tMMYEkQU

(edited as being peed off made me less targeted on what I wanted to say - some idiot in The Air Force needs to be sacked for this)

61. No it's not. I would buy the Terrified claim if they jumped in the water and tried to swim for it.
People can be like cattle. Easily spooked and stampeded. Go to any mall and run for an exit yelling Oh my God! Oh my God! See how many people follow you. You'll have half the mall on your heels. Stampeding is also why people get trampled to death at concerts and soccer games. The less people you have the easier it is to get them to stampede. That appeared to be the size of a large Mc Cain audience.

10. This fly-by is so incredibly off-the-charts WRONG...
...that there's no way the photo op story holds true.

Whoever did this knew exactly what they were doing. No one flies a huge 747 like that, just
grazing the NY skyline--unaware of the fear and anger they are inciting.

I don't know who did this or why---but whoever did it was making a statement--and most likely
demonstrating that they still have some pull at the DOD and at the Pentagon.

Gee, who is angry and wanting diversions right now from the torture story?

Yeah. I went there.

59. Really, Stewart's jokes are different
he was mocking the government for being so totally stupid. He showed the picture of Biden in the cockpit to demonstrate the wonders of photoshop and how a picture of Air Force 1 flying past the Statue of Liberty could have been done without scaring people to death.

I haven't been in NYC since the spring of 2001 and I nearly freaked out seeing the video of the plane yesterday and that was after I knew the story. I can't imagine what it would have been like to be on the south end of Manhattan yesterday and see that it person. Scaring people like that is not funny and it's just lucky that no one was seriously hurt (as far as we know) when the buildings emptied out.

They don't need anyone to make them paranoid. They can remember the paranoia without anyone's help. This was unforgiveable. Mr. Obama apologized? Mr. Obama should have fired Mr. Caldera and everyone else involve in this. And if he knew, and some believe he did, he should have fired himself. He really is no longer my president after the horror the people of New York relived this morning. Apology? He can go to hell.

If ever there was a time for an investigation into an utterly boneheaded (or subversive) action, this is it. You are absolutely right that the people of New York city relived horror, but absolutely wrong that Barack Obama would have had anything at all to do with the planning of such an awful thing.

All the triggers were there for a panic, especially for those who were in New York City on 9/11. The psyche never really recovers from something like that -- and the triggers yesterday were many.

Also...what about those who suffer from PTSD?
