1. She's way right of center so expect this smoke screening and deflection. Happy karma, Janet.
... just shaking my head.

5. She's more interested in making her boss look good and is afraid to take charge and do some good.
If you ask me.

7. I have always heard that she is a strong governor and woman. She
does seem to be sitting on the fence lately--or since she moved into the administration. Just an observation.

8. Yes, she's very hesitant and conservative.
Comes from wanting to please too many masters, if you ask me, and from having a, uh, flexible moral compass.

3. All flu kills
Most kills the very old and the very young.

Wait and see whether or not this is killing young, healthy adults before you hit any sort of a panic button.

News out of Mexico indicates it might be. News here says most have recovered.

4. Not hitting the panic button
but the two death young men were 33 and 45

Aka your target group for this

By the way I don;t think sharing info is hitting any panic button

Now if I were running with head on fire... WE ARE ALL GONNA DIE (which we are anyway) that would be a different story

:-)

9. Keep in mind....
During a typical year in the United States, 30,000 to 50,000 persons die as a result of influenza viral infection. Frequently cited numbers are 20,000 deaths each year, and 37,000 annual deaths. About 5-10% of hospitalizations for influenza lead to fatal outcome in adults.

10. Here we go: one of those "possibles" NOT due to swine flu.
"The virus was ruled out as a cause in the death of a 45-year-old La Mirada man, said Craig Harvey of the Los Angeles County Department of Coroner. The death of a 33-year-old Long Beach man was still being investigated."

The 33-yo, by the way, had lymphoma as a "predisposing condition".

So no death wave yet, I know you'll be happy to hear. Won't you?
