8.  What the F is your problem?
This is great news, yet you try to make anyone interested in knowing these facts feel foolish. Why don't you just go away for a while? You add nothing to the conversation but bad feelings for the honest, information seeking people of DU.

We're all capable of reading and comprehending the links provided without your snarky narrative. Honestly.

21. I have one person on ignore
:7

I have only had one other ignore during the last few years. Eventually, that person found that nobody was biting anymore and slipped off into the sunset. I was able to restore them as they were no longer around. Now my ignore feature is getting use again. ;-) I figure why waste brain cells since there is nothing added to the conversation anyway.

:hi:

5. GOOD...
just remember sooner or later a report like this will be true.

NOT glee, even CDC expects that

And it goes without saying RIP

(Of course I need this disclaimer for a very sick group of puppies who according to them I should be pissed... instead of full of glee over the body count)

11. Note the word choices...
Unlikely... apparently... in other words, they are speaking before they know for certain.

But we aren't supposed to err on the side of caution, so I suppose that goes both ways.

24. For God's sake. 36,000 die of regular flu in America *every year*!
Including at least 800 every week from January 1 to April 18 of this year. So now 150 people die in Mexico out of who knows how many millions who had it, in a country where medical care and attention is not ideal for everyone, and we're supposed to panic? Please.
