Joe Sestak just told Big Ed that he's not pulling out of the PA Senate race...
This could end up badly for the Democratic Establishment. Will they betray Sestak to embrace Specter who may or may not vote reliably with Dems?

I think the Dems could be playing their cards too closely to the chest. Joe Sestak is a strong candidate. And a true, reliable Democrat. He's also a former military admirable.

1. Exactly. And he should be thrown under the bus for Specter?

4. Perhaps we should organize fundraising for Sestak...
Having Arlen is fine for right now, but I don't want the bastard come '10.

5. Either way, Toomey is toast.
He's a Santorum wannabe, well other than Toomey actually lives in PA, not Virginia. The GOP can't take this seat now. I like Specter and hope he wins, but if Sestak takes it so be it.

11. Yeah. I heard that discussion on Tweety's show. Joe and 'Fast Eddie' had something to do with it.
I hope they know what they're doing. We don't need another Joe LIEberman on our side. We really do need a true, reliable Democrat, not a DemoCRAP!!!

12. Maybe they're just into the symbolism of the Republicans losing him and us having 60 votes...
...even if we can't actually rely on him.

As a PA Dem, I sure think we deserve better!
