This is quite the interesting freepwad thread
EAST BANK, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- A man from Kanawha County is in trouble after he allegedly walked on a school bus and slapped a student on board.

It happened Tuesday afternoon in East Bank.

25-year-old Joshua Beaver of Pratt is accused of slapping a teenager on the bus after he said the teen flipped the middle finger at him. Beaver says the driver let him on the bus to identify the teen.

Beaver told WSAZ.com Tuesday afternoon that he didn't slap anyone.

WSAZ.com obtained surveillance video from the bus. It shows Beaver get on the bus and move to the back. Police say that's when he slapped the 14-year-old boy.

Beaver later turned himself into police on an unrelated charge. He's charged with malicious or unlawful assault of child or assault of a child near a school, a felony.

The little punk got of easy with just a slap. Too bad the adult was the one who will pay for it.

Maybe if little brats were actually afraid of grown ups, they wouldn’t pull crap like flipping complete strangers the middle finger.

lots more responses in the same vein. freepwads think it's just dandy for an adult to get on a school bus and whack a kid. insanity.

1. Typical freeper logic, slapping kids around in a fit of
anger is a proud conservative value.

16. He should get fired. The children's safety is in his hands
The man could just as easily pointed the child out from the front of the bus and had the kid come up forward and his name taken for disciplinary action. No one has the right to strike anyone let alone a child...Leave it to the Freepers to always want to ignore laws and/or take the Law into their own hands..The man should be sued and the bus driver fired.

6. Well, They're good Christinas, and Jebus himself said,
"Suffer, little children." Right? As closely as freeper Christinas read the Bible, I'm sure they think so.

As for myself, I always spare the rod. I can't afford to buy new ones, and I love to fish. I also like spoiling the children, and my great nieces and nephews know that all too well. I take them fishing often and they're welcome to spoil the rods I let them use.

4. Interesting. I'd ask them
what they would do if an adult gave them the finger. Would they go up and strike the offender? In most cases, they probably would not, even if they say they would. There are exceptions, of course. Some folks love getting into physical fights, and the finger is a good enough excuse for them.

That raises the question of why they'd think it was OK to strike a teenager on a school bus.

Most of us have been flipped off by someone. I just shrug such impoliteness off. No harm is done to me by it, so I let it pass. Even moreso would I let a kid giving me the finger pass. Kids do stupid stuff all the time.

In a school bus setting, I'm sure there are remedies that can be used to chide a juvenile who does something like that. Having an adult hit the kid wouldn't be one of them, I imagine.

7. My wife and I were behind a bus about a year ago and a GIRL mooned us!
I'm not just talking a little crack here, I'm talking a full moon - as in it was OBVIOUSLY a girl!

We looked at each other and laughed, but the question remained - why?

But getting back to this article, it really isn't right that the bus driver let someone get on the bus. If the guy had a complaint, he should have taken down the license plate and called the bus company. They can track that down!

10. So then your first impulse wasn't
to stalk the bus and then board it and then smack that girl in the head?

WTF is wrong with you?

20. That's hilarious!
My wife and I got mooned by a kid on a school bus once. It was a rather heavyset boy, with a very pimply butt. It's a good thing I wasn't drinking coffee at the time, or I'd have spewed it all over the dashboard.

We laughed for hours over that.

5. Why did the bus driver let a total stranger on the bus with kids
just because a kid flipped someone off. I mean really did it kill or harm this freak in any way. Was there any physical pain you know like "torture". Someone, besides the kid, should pay dearly for this. IMO

8. oy vey.
some kid flips off unknown adult and unknown adult makes an informal self introduction by slapping the kid. Why did the bus driver allow an unknown adult to get on the bus?

Kid was an ass but the adults are total asses.

Freepers... :eyes: are so good at giving advice on child rearing... Just slap 'em and then slap 'em again.

let's perpetuate hitting and slapping in order to solve problems. Who needs diplomacy or calm and rational discussion?

no one asks why the kid would have flipped the man off in the first place. The man turned himself in on other charges... sounds like a freeper hero to me... and probably deserved the finger.

14. Probably get in trouble for this but
I have no problem with a few swats on the butt to teach the very young ones about discipline and consequences of actions but if you have not taught them what they need to know (like don't flip off people bigger than you) by the time they are 14 I don't think physical violence is really going to do much other than you ending up in jail like this guy.

If the mans only reason for slapping the kid was that he is just an angry asshole then he is getting what he deserves. If he truly thought he was 'teaching the kid a lesson' that is where my comment on 14 being a little late for that kind of lesson comes in. Again in the end it will be a good lesson for the kid not to piss off people that are older and/or bigger than you are as you can never be sure how they will react.

Unfortunately for the kid, my wife knew his name, and had his principal on speed dial. Called right from the car. Principal was waiting at the curb when the bus reached the school.

18. I like the
"If you use fighting words and gestures be prepared to defend yourself" one.

The finger is a fighting gesture. Nice. Kind of reminds me of calling Mcfly in the Back to the Future movies "A chicken".

Go on automatic, hell pull your automatic and just fuck someone up.

What a group of weakass chickenshits

24. I think that's the slapping thing - the unrelated charge isn't specified
It sounds odd that assaulting a child near a school is somehow different from assaulting a child - it seems like it's the assault that matters, not where it occurred...

25. I couldn't tell if the guy slapped him
or if the kids just say he was. Either way the cops have charged him and the courts will decide.

Personally if someone flips me off I just smile and wave. That seems to really piss someone off if they are trying to start a fight. But for a kid I consider that they are a kid. I would call the school or bus company, but step onto the bus and physically assault someone who was a kid. No way. Kids are, by nature, kind of stupid sometimes. You can't take anything like that personally.

We should just all march over to all the Freeper houses and slap them all silly for being so stupid. I mean, if you walk around being stupid at every turn, you deserve a good smack in the head, right?

:eyes:

They don't know how lucky they are that they are a very small percentage of the population and we regard them merely as annoying gnats for the most part.
