This is good news every confirmation of death due to this is not good

I am sorry if information scares you, and you need to belittle it (tm)

1. I think you're doing some serious projection here.
Most people here don't appear scared by information. many do take note that some here are hyperventilating about this and are prematurely preaching doom. There's a middle road to take. One needn't either be in denial or be eagerly pushing it as calamitous. Simply keeping oneself informed and taking reasonable precautions, is the reasonable path.

And your supercillious snark at the end of each of your OPs about this, isn't terribly helpful or impressive.

4. One problem with Instant Media is that rumors can spread quickly also
and that is a big problem with emergencies, disasters. Not knowing what is really going on vs rumors and fear.

5. And quite frankly that some people get just as scared about readying a bona
fide rumor or a bona fide news story

I have found the process always fascinating

By the way, Perry's we might close the border was over reacting, that is panic inducing... so is the French asking the EU to close all travel to Mexico (and I am betting the US will be next)

So were the culling of the pigs in Egypt...

from yesterday when they said they were both not due to the flu?
