Not one question about outsourcing
Edited on Wed Apr-29-09 08:39 PM by Mari333
Not one question about the huge wasteful defense dept budget
Not one question about the corporations who are buying up oil fields in Iraq
Not one question about taxpayer dollars funding Triple Canopy mercenaries
Not one question about TARP funds being used to create jobs overseas
Not one question about H1B visas
Not one question about the occupation of Afghanistan and the pipeline
Not one question about illegal wiretapping or FISA

Im sorry, but it sucked. I blame the media whores .

14. its worse than you think
We are training India and China - with those jobs goes training - such cheap labor doesn't start from ground zero. We spend billions training - assembly work, technician work, medical records, reading x-rays, software engineering. Far more investment is going into training people in China and India than here in USA. With it goes our intellectual safe guards - from manufacturing technology to complex computer systems and programming to defense techologies. The USA is quickly cannibalizing itself.

So - while voters are approving millions of dollars in bonds to equip schools with computers so we can keep pace - your job is going to a person who didn't see a computer till he was 25. No good will come of this for USA except for the uber-rich. The rest of us will pay the price.

6. Agree 100% - Not a Peep About Wall Street
Amnesty for torture, amnesty for Wall Street, amnesty for wire tapping, jobs overseas. We are so screwed. We have a new puppy in the Whitehouse laying down the foundation for the next series of disasters. These disasters happen because no matter how much damage an individual causes, no matter how much they have profited through the suffering of others, the rich and powerful do not have to worry about justice. This indifference to justice is symptomatic of a sick society. One that is more and more like fascism-lite.

We won't see any structural improvements with this administration. Wall Street stole the treasury and we simply turned the printing press up to maximum. One can imagine Geithner looking forward to a rich post-obama career on Wall Street smok'n cigars and slap'n backs on how he pulled one over on us all.

He is wasting the capital we gave him going into Washington by playing bi-partisan games. The number of indictments for the 7 or 8 man-made "disasters" he is handling? Zero. Rest assured the republicans will not be so kind to us Dems when they regain control. It will be nasty. Clinton made a similar mistake regarding "bi-partisanship".
