I wonder if I haven't already had the Swine Flu this year.

I flew to NYC back in early March from Orlando and got sick (as I always do) immediately upon my return and was pretty ill for about 2-1/2 to 3 weeks there after.

They recirculate cabin air over and over so inevitably I'm breathing someone else's strange germs that I've never met before whenever I fly and those germs usually aren't even nice enough to buy me dinner and a movie before getting me sick first!

:puke:

1. My son had a flu after a flight from the southwest a couple weeks ago.
I thought it was strange since he'd had a flu vaccine.

So I'm wondering about him, too.

2. It's pretty unlikely.
If you hear a hoofed animal clip-clopping down the sidewalk in Central Park, it's possible it's a zebra. It's extraordinarily likely that it's a horse.

3. In early March, the chances of catching it were basically zero
It was probably here in the U.S. by mid to late April, though.

4. My daughter and I both
had a terrible flu in early March. We were down in bed for two full weeks. Another two weeks before we were symptom free. It had an exceptionally high respiratory element. Worst cough of my life. I've wondered more than once now if it wasn't an early undiagnosed case of swine flu.

That I've only had the flu two other times in my life, and have always appeared somewhat immune, makes me wonder even more.
