At first I couldn't figure out what's wrong. But there's no Title, DemocraticUnderground at the top, and I think there's a column missing on the left side.

Did I press the wrong button? Or is this one of those DU defcom 1 events?

2. Sounds like a graphics setting on your PC
I can't see some graphics from some sites myself. Have not figured out exactly why yet.

3. There are sometimes differences
between being signed in and not being so. Other than that clear your cookies and start again - might help.

4. Different on which page(s)?
Home Page, latest page, a forum page, a thread page?

If it's the view of a forum that's different, have you hit the 'expand threads' button (top left of a forum screen) by mistake? If so, there should be a 'collapse threads' option i nthe same place to get back to normal.

5. I just opened DU in IE and it looks normal
I generally use Mozilla. It's weird, because I've never had this happen. It's not the expand thread button.

It's like certain graphics aren't showing. The:

Democratic
Underground.com

On the top left is gone, and the first column of any forum is gone.

6. Hmm - Firefox does allow you to block graphics from named sites
but it's hard to imagine you changing that accidentally (it's under Options->Content->load images automatically->Exceptions).

Sorry, I'm out of suggestions.

That's it. It listed DU. How the fuck did I do that "by accident"? I didn't even know that menu existed, and didn't go there.

Thanks! It's back to normal now.

11. One possible way to add it 'by accident':
Right click on an image from DU, and you get a popup menu including "block images from democraticunderground.com" - choose that, and Firefox gives you a line at the top of the window "Firefox will always block images from DU from now on", with an 'Undo' button. If you did that, and missed that message somehow (maybe you closed Firefox just then), it might explain what happened.

12. That's probably it. I almost did it by accident just now
As I was closing the pop up window, the cursor scrolled down to the "block" line.

8. Are you using Adblock?
That's the only thing I could think of that blocks specific pictures.

9. have you pushed the "expand threads" button in the left hand corner
I did that the other day by mistake and my interface changed, took forever to figure out what I had done.
