ABC/WAPO Poll: More Americans now support marriage equality than oppose it
for the first time ever. 49% are in favor versus 46% against.

Via Towleroad:

"A new ABC/Washington Post poll shows that for the first time ever, supporters of same-sex marriage in the U.S. outnumber opponents. These are even better numbers than the stunning CBS Poll released just two days ago which found that 42% of Americans support marriage equality."

I think the trend shown in this graph is pretty telling.

6. Sadly, at least one poster
said she shouldn't be ostracized because she was just reflecting the "majority view" of the country.

As if that made it OK. Well, now I guess that argument is completely demolished.

7. As older people keep dying off that percentage will increase.
By and large younger people are more supportive (dim witted people like Miss California excepted).
