8. Tell me. I have really had to crack down on people dragging their
toddling, feverish, coughing little germ factories in with them for Fluffy's shots, which can always wait for a more opportune time.

That's about the only time I get flu anymore is when one of them pulls that. Here in LA our upper middle class actually thinks THEIR sick kids aren't contagious. That's for the immigrants.

9. I've noticed my students being very careful when they cough.
They're really conscious of this -- which surprises me because they're usually oblivious to the world.
