I'm sure it's still said in the right(wing) company, but it wasn't so long ago when that kind of shit made it into the papers whenever a public figure uttered one of the right-wing code words used to denigrate any woman who didn't want to stay in the kitchen all barefoot and preggers with her mouth firmly shut and submitting to her man.

It's been slow progress, but just think of how much stress it causes for people like Gingrich, Hastert, Falwell (OK, caused), Robertson, et. al, to know that they can't just blurt out what they're really thinking, re: women, anymore? If that's not a win, I don't know what is.
