Look, just because you mention the Nazis in an argument, doesn't mean you automatically failed the argument.

To me, that's a baby/bathwater situation that makes no sense...

3. That's not what Godwin's law states.
Godwin's law states that as an online discussion (Usenet, in Godwin's example) grows longer, the probability of a comparison to Hitler or the Nazis approaches 1.
