We won't really begin to win until we promote the progressive agenda as diligently as if it were a
business enterprise

Our opponents have the resources to buy organization, in the form of battalions of lobbyists and essentially complete control of mass-communication technology. And they have coherent strategic plans for advancing their interests

We aren't going to fight that successfully with knee-jerk internet posts: it requires assembling a coherent and organized political counterforce. Our monetary disadvantage can be overcome by people-power, but only if we have practical techniques that enable large numbers of people to educate themselves, to analyze their own situations, and to take effective steps to start reclaiming political control in their own lives
