Poll question: What would you say the direction of the craziness in conservatism is?
My personal story: In recent weeks, it's getting to be so I can't even debate them anymore. How it used to work...

Conservative puts up insane argument
Liberal puts up argument that throws conservative's argument into question or completely debunks it
Conservative responds with some kind of argument

Now it's like this

Conservative puts up insane argument
Liberal puts up argument that throws conservative's argument into question or completely debunks it
Conservative ignores what liberal said and continues going on about insane argument
Other conservatives join in and supplement what the first conservative said with their own insane arguments

Case in point:
Conservative talks about how insane hate crime laws are
I tell this conservative that we already have hate crime laws that protect religion and race
Other conservatives join in and say that hate crime laws are racist as non-white people have never been prosecuted for harming white people with a hate crimes charge added onto it (Even though that has in fact happened on several occasions)

It was all like they were just whipping each other into a bigger and bigger frenzy.

So, what do you think of the direction of their collective sanity in the recent weeks?

that makes it look crazier than normal.

4. As they get more crazy the one can't take it bug out, leaving those who can.
The result is stinking black hole of hard core (corps?) crazies, held together with nothing but hate, illogic & insanity. Stop feeding them & they'll eat each other.
