I'm backing you Nancy. I'm still pissed you didn't impeach these bastards but I'll pick you over them every second of the day.

Call their fugging bluff - Special Prosecutor.

ever share sensitive, self incriminating information with Pelosi or the hated Democrats, ever, Why would the BushCo/republicans do this and tell democrats incriminating secrets?

The republicans ruled everything then (2001 - 2007) Bush/Cheney/Rove & the republicans really & truly thought their power was going to last forever.

The republicans were/are so smugly partisan and have such disdain for the democrats, the people & our constitution. They were never ever going to do things fairly or by the law, that’s not who the republicans are, they believe they are better than everyone else….republicans felt they were above all that, untouchable, they certainly were NOT going to tell Pelosi or any Democrat for that matter all their lies & sick secrets about prisoner abuse and torture or about anything else….

The republicans (Cheney) wouldn't even tell the Dems or anyone else who was even at the White House energy policy meetings. It's still covered up, so you know they were never going to let democrats in on their crimes, lust for pain & torture, and most certainly not Nancy Pelosi whom they despise or any other democrat…

The CIA, BushCo & the republicans who were in complete and total power are lying trying to save their ass and believe they can get out of this if they finger a democrat, and say it enough times on Fox news….that’s always been their strategy, since day one of BushCo, the most secret administration in American history.

Again, get real here, we are talking about the arrogant slimy, vindictive, imperialist republicans in power here…

3. Spot on.
We need to remember that this torture was being used to get Iraqi connections to Al Qaeda - the purpose being to make case for IWR and get the invasion/occupation of Iraq underway. Doubtful they were tipping off any Democrats on this point. The GWOT was always a joke...it only served to get Bush's illegal/immoral war on Iraq's resources underway.

6. Right!
I would add that Republicans seem to particularly despise Nancy Pelosi ABOVE (almost) all other Democrats and the wingnuts are still out in full force warning about her imposing her "San Francisco values" on the rest of the country (they obviously forget that the Republicans lost Congress in 2006 and the public obviously didn't have a problem with the Democrats- and Nancy- staying in charge of HOR in 2008).

It sounds to me like she wasn't given all of the pertinent information and/or was misled by the CIA about what they were or weren't using at the time in regards to interrogating terror suspects and if she wasn't actually privy to any specific information about illegal activities, what was there to do anything about? Furthermore, for it to be a "scandal" for her to have heard about illegal activities and not done anything, there would've had to have been some illegal activities going on to begin with- and it was certainly NOT the Democratic minority in Congress authorizing, implementing, and executing them.

2. Nice how they paid her back for not doing investigations on impeachment.
They tried to make her a co-conspirator on the Bush administration's illegal acts. Big surprise. I hope they rue the day they tried this gambit...maybe now Pelosi will facilitate a real Truth Commission.

7. Of course for them to incriminate her
there's got to be a CRIME somewhere. Frankly, I continually fail to understand exactly how they think implicating Pelosi in their schemes help them. I guess their thinking is that if one of our own is implicated in wrongdoing, we'll just STFU about the torture issue and move on to something else? It can't help but think that what they are doing only sheds a hotter brighter light on what exactly what they were doing at the time but none of us ever accused Republicans of being rational/smart.

8. I'm backing Nancy
like you I'm still pissed about her un-setting the damn table but I strongly believe she is being blackmailed by the evil crew of war criminals, I really do and Reid too.
And it really pisses me off that our congress critters can be so easily blackmailed. I would like to think that our elected officials were on the up and up. but that doesn't seem to be the case here anymore
