Tucker Carlson & Dana Perino make a shocking and totally unexpected move to FOX NEWS.
Tucker Carlson, Dana Perino Join Fox News As Contributors

Tucker Carlson and Dana Perino have joined Fox News as contributors, the Huffington Post has learned.

Carlson hosted the 6PM hour on MSNBC until March 2008, when his show, "Tucker," was canceled. Since then, he served as a senior campaign correspondent for MSNBC and has written for The Daily Beast.

Perino served as White House Press Secretary from September 2007 through the end of George W. Bush's second term. Last month, it was announced she'd be joining Mark Penn's public relations firm, Burson-Marsteller, as "chief issues counselor."

10. Carlson may not be a 100% "loyal soldier" for the cause
About 5% of the time, he becomes irate at the republican party and speaks his mind. Remember how he went off on GWB for flying around the country on 9/11 instead of coming to Washington and being "in control?" Several times, I was shocked to hear him sound fairly rational. But, he has never gotten over Jon Stewart destroying his little t.v. show...he still goes on and on about it....kinda like Cramer does...both are whiny babies.

17. I think Carlson is 98% performance and 2% authentic.
He's not one of the loyal soldiers, as you said. Just a hack who knows he can get money blathering about shallow Conservative truisms. Sean Hannity is a 100%-paid-for GOP salesman.

Perino joins Mark Penn's firm
Posted: 12:00 PM ET

From From CNN Ticker Producer Alexander Mooney

Perino is joining the consultancy firm headed up by Mark Penn.

(CNN) — Former Bush Press Secretary Dana Perino has taken a job with Burson-Marsteller, the political consultancy firm headed by former top Clinton advisor Mark Penn.

In a statement published on Burson-Marsteller's Web site, Penn said Perino "has performed one of the most demanding jobs in Washington."

"We know the skills and judgment she honed in her time at the White House will serve our clients well," he also said in the statement.

Perino isn't the first prominent ex-Bush advisor to sign up with Penn's firm. Karen Hughes, who managed the White House's communications office during President Bush's first term, joined Burson-Marsteller last summer.
