WASHINGTON - Four men have been arrested in a plot to attack several targets in the New York City area, including synagogues, federal and local authorities told NBC News Wednesday.

Authorities said the four men have long been under investigation and there was little danger they could actually have carried out their plan, NBC's Pete Williams reported.

We were at a BDay dinner for a sister-in-law (Lakeview House); he was there for a bit, all decked out. Couldn't tell us why he was late & had to leave early, but 1/2hour later it is all over the news.

Stewart is such an obvious target with all that open MTA property, not very surprising.

A couple years ago the big 'rumour' was school attacks. 1000 students at NFA with plenty of access wouldn't be much of a stretch either.
