Ritter vetoes labor measure - CO
By Jessica Fender
The Denver Post

Gov. Bill Ritter on Tuesday issued a late-in-the-day veto of legislation that would have favored grocery store workers in ongoing negotiations over their union contracts with Colorado's major supermarket chains.

Snip

The killed legislation would have made it easier for workers locked out of their job sites to receive state unemployment payments.

2. I'm tired of him bending over backwards for the "business community"
I know the media made a huge deal about how many typical Republicans with deep pockets supported him over Beauprez, but to continue groveling for their support with things like this makes the rest of us wonder what we were voting for. Maybe if he wins reelection (looking like a serious "if" at this point), he'll show some spine in his second term.

3. I am not sure
a second chance is warranted. I don't think he would change that much.
