Remember: "Cheney is a coward"
Jesse Ventura:
"I don't have a lot of respect for Dick Cheney, here's a guy who got five deferments from the Vietnam War. Clearly, he's a coward. He wouldn't go when it was his time to go and now he's a chickenhawk, now he's this big tough guy who wants this hard core policy, and he's the guy that sanctioned all this torture by calling it enhanced interrogation...I have no respect for Dick Cheney, I have tremendous respect for Colin Powell."

"They say it's prevented things by us torturing? If that's the case then why haven't we caught Bin Laden? Because we got his people and if we tortured them they ought to be able to tell us where he's at. See, it don't work, we haven't captured Bin Laden, we haven't done anything. Torture does not work."

1. the torture wasn't to find out true things. it was to get these people to
say there was a link to iraq and 911. pure and simple. and cheney is a coward. it's easy to fight a war from your desk or armchair. when you are not the one being shot at or blown up. asshole!

2. That has never been in question
Trouble is that a whole lot of Americans also seem to have become cowardly as well.

4. Eight years of boosh and cheenee saying "be afraid, be very afraid"
will do that to some faint-hearted people.

I blame the boosh admin entirely. They did nothing to protect this country.

We do have to acknowledge though, for all their disdain for the arts, Republicans funded and promoted some of the best creative material ever!

3. "Why don't we torture gang members?"
The Vice Lords and MS13 have killed a lot more Americans than Al Qaeda -- wouldn't it make more sense to torture them?
