Poll question: True or False: Dick is scared he might be prosecuted for war crimes?
Why the hell else would he start talking NOW?

He didnt say shit for the years that he was hiding in his bunker while he committed these war crimes. Now he is scared that the People are coming after him.

2. I think it's pretty clear that he is indeed running scared. He sees the tide of public opinion shif
shifting, and he's frightened, big time.

7. I think so
And I have a feeling his motivation behind running his mouth constantly is to set up the meme that if he is prosecuted, it's a "partisan witch hunt" just to shut him up. x(

and that's why he's so blatantly thumbing his nose at elected Democrats.

9. Conjecture regarding the "feelings" of psychopaths like Cheney and Bush are mere "thinking off"
They HAVE no "feelings" ... only appetites and drives. They are PSYCHOPATHS.

12. That's what this is all about - an effort to stay ahead of an investigation.
If he can kick up enough dust, he thinks it will obscure the real legal issues of his war crimes.

After all, he thought he was successfully lying to everyone for the last 8 years, why stop now?

17. Some truly wishful thinking here. Wish I could be that wishful.

Dick Cheney reminds me of Mark Antony without the libido.

He pisses on us. He's not afraid of being prosecuted. Obama has already taken it off the table and recently made it doubleplus clear att he recent meeting with "left wing human rights activists".

Cheney has nothing to fear. Like Mark Antony, he pisses on the Imperial Senate and laughs all the way to the bank.

Poppy Bush was our Julius or perhaps Augustus Caesar. Cheney, the in-your-face-evil vulgarian, is our Mark Antony.

I become more convinced every day that the Bushies are exercising as close to total control that their need for "plausible deniability" allows.

Obama is a necessary respite, for the Plebs, as Clinton was, and most Bushie policies, the important ones anyway roll onward.

I hope I am wrong, but the Democratic Party will likely not see higher levels of control than they do now. Not with the Corporate M$M Bushiganda still dominating. Not with our eminently hackable "voting" systems ready to swing into action in 2010 for the Bushies, now that the pressure is off and the necessary plausible deniability has everyone doubting again.

Bushies can now easily steal the next three elections without worrying.

Cheney is not afraid, though I appreciate the frustrated impotence that leads us to believe that, if we wish really hard, it makes it so.
