Want to see an example of excellent parenting?
Todd Palin Offered Bristol A Car To Dump Levi

In an yet-to-be released interview with GQ, Levi Johnston, the ex-boyfriend of teen mom Bristol Palin (and father to her son, Tripp) reveals even more details about the dynamics of his relationship with Bristol and her family.

Johnston told GQ that Todd Palin, on multiple occasions, offered to buy his daughter a car if she would break up him.

Since their split in March the two have separately given numerous media interviews, in which various divides have emerged. Johnston has declared that abstinence is unrealistic and been fairly frank in discussing the couple's love life. His family has also gone public with complaints that the Palins do not allow them enough contact with the baby. Bristol, on the other hand, after initially questioning abstinence has become an ardent campaigner for the cause but reluctant to discuss her own romantic past.

According to New York Magazine, who snagged a preview of the article, Johnston said he has no plans to get back together with Bristol.

1. Oh, I thought this was about me.
I offered TM a BMW convertible if she'd go to the community college and stay home instead of going away to college.

She declined.

(The car would have been way cheaper)

4. My father offered all of his daughters a tidy sum of money if we'd
just elope and not have the full wedding thing. he hated that stuff- though he was awfully good at giving gracious and witty toasts. Only one of us took him up on it.

8. Makes sense to me.
I'm a cheap old fart. I can see spending some money on a wedding, but not these crazy blowouts and certainly not gong into debt for it.

10. LOL. I got an earful today about the 'wedding of the century'
which is apparently in TM's future.

11. we got married at the family reunion. at my aunt's cottage up by ray's bay.
it was a 60's theme.... so my husband wore a tye dye tshirt and jean shorts. My sister made me a flower ring for my hair with that stuff coming off the back that is on a veil. she made one for my daughter too who was the flower girl. (it was HER day you know!!) my aunt found her a cute little flower 60's like dress to wear. she looked SOO cute!! My aunt made a cake and found some cute toppers that the kids have destroyed by now. Very low on cost but high on fun. I am not into big fancy high stress weddings. I have four sisters and a brother... my one sister the first who got married got married in a church and had a reception at a place... and i think my brother had a fancy wedding... the rest of us were less so... my oldest sister opting for an immediate family wedding at the park and then a reception at the park with friends.

granted, i lived with bob for ten years before we got married. so the thought of spending any real money on anything when I could think of other things that money should and could go for... LOL!
