Has The Torture Debate Lost Traction?
Last week, seemingly every other thread was related to torture and its prosecution. Now, nothing.

Granted, with a SC appointment, the prop. 8 ruling, and the like, other current events have wedged their way into the discussion.

But my greatest fear is that Obama's deflection of the issue, coupled with the raging right's malevolent and pre-emptive strike on the subject, may have relegated it to "yesterday's news".

This cannot go away. Please. Keep the hot potato in the air.

Torture will not even be mentioned, unless there is a suspect and they think he is holding out on the police.

Much of recent activity was related to Cheney coming out of his coffin to defend the practice and Mancow throwing his plastic cow toy.
