I was wrong, the Chimp has entered the room..
"The Chimp" aka ..Gerorge W. Bush, past pres. has entered the room and wants to discuss torture.
So, another round has begun. I thought this discussion would be over after Mancow, but obviously, with the Chimp back, it will start again. Who knows what will be next?

1. That's good.
For a while, I thought he was going to escape scrutiny all together, since folks were so happy that he had simply disappeared. But, he's back!

3. They must really be nervous, if Smirky has been allowed to speechify on the subject.

Nothing makes me happier than seeing Wee Cowboy back on the national GOP stage, representing core conservapuke values.

5. TorTuRe ProtEkS ehMurkA
Lots of actionable intelligence, useful for invading innocent countries, like Iraq.

Need proof it works? Just ask that fellow in the Libyan jail, if we could.

6. Oh goodie!
Bush raised his debate bar to the "He didn't do that bad" level and now he wants to jump into this?

with the help of plants like Frank Lutz the press ate that up

Now only 4 months out the name-that-can not-be-speaketh is just more fuel and oxygen on the GOP fire

that Smirky has grabbed the mic from Darth Vader.

As the GOP tries to pull its head out of its ass they decide this is the strategery they wanna use.

14. According to the CNN story in "latest news"...he is speaking
Edited on Fri May-29-09 07:52 AM by Stuart G
without notes, and sort of extemporaneously, which of course means that eventually he will stick his foot in his mouth, in his ear, and up his ass. It is great that he is back to show the world again what a complete idiot he is.

Here is what the CNN story says about this,

"The former president was speaking to nearly 2,500 members the Economic Club of Southwestern Michigan. The format of the speech was changed at the last minute when Bush decided to answer questions directly from the audience members, instead of responding to pre-submitted questions provided to a moderator."

13. I hope he comes around more often.
It reminds us (DUers included, and perhaps especially) how bad things were and how bad they can be again. Looking at people comparing Obama to Bush with alarming frequency around here, it's nice to have the side-by-side.
