Prince William confronted the elephant in the room
at ground zero. "Big question, when is this planned to be completed?"

Dang. I like the younger brother a lot (even his dressing up as a Nazi cracked me up).

That question should have been asked every month on the nightly news or cable news shows but wasn't.

Hey, you people that wrapped yourself in the flag and continuously held a 9/11 banner to cover yourselves politically. WHERE IS THE F***ING BUILDING AND MEMORIAL????!!

we have hundreds of billions for financial crooks in banks, but we don't have some money to close the wound at the bottom of Manhattan??

5. A couple of things.
1. Glad you thought the Nazi thing was funny, I would like to see Harry pull that in NY.

2. The Ground Zero clusterfuck has nothing to do with the people who wrapped themselves in 9/11, it's all about a failure of our local politicians in NY and political gamesmanship. It's a mess entirely of NY's making and we have no one to blame but the LMDC, Port Authority and the fuckwits in Albany. 7 WTC has been completed for quite a while now, because it was not beholden to any of those entities.

12. I agree about NY State
I moved from NY to Ohio 16 yrs ago and I have been so much better off. There is too much corruption on all levels in New York.

6. Ghouliani needed that hole...
As a prop for his ill-fated campaign.

Some say it's a local issue; I'm not buying it. I think you're right. It's a war wound worn proudly like a crown.

You know that, I know that. Now you have posted it here, a lot of other DUers should know it too. Won't stop the outrage.

13. He's still a jerky kid. Perhaps serving in the army helped him out. Being treated
like everybody else. He probably liked that.

14. Bad taste is an avocado refrigerator.
Dressing up as a Nazi is rather no-taste, and offensive to boot.

It's not something I'd choose to defend. To each their own.

15. Dressing up as a Nazi
is distressing and not particularly funny from a regular guy, let alone a potential heir to the throne of England, a country directly attacked and bombed by Hitler and the Nazis. Prince Harry seems to have inherited some of his grandfather Prince Philip's DNA, and that's not a good thing.

I live in Manhattan. Can't argue with you about the site. Glaciers move faster. It's an utter disgrace and New York politics (City and State) are to blame.

19. There's a fucking herd of pachyderms in the room, so many that there's no room in the room,
and still we find some way to ignore them.
