You just can make this stuff up.

http://www.king5.com/localnews/south/stories/NW_060209WAB-student-smokes-pot-essay-TP.405b5ec6.html

GIG HARBOR, Wash. – A student with a 3.7 GPA was arrested after smoking a joint in class during an essay about legalizing marijuana.

The Pierce County Sheriff’s Office say the 17-year-old senior at Peninsula High School was part of a group called the “Rhetoric Rebels,” made up of seniors and english students. The essays are an annual event.

During his essay Monday, the student allegedly lit up the marijuana cigarette in front of teachers and students. When a school resource officer got to the classroom, he swallowed the joint.

The student was taken to juvenile detention at Remann Hall in Tacoma for possession of marijuana and was “emergency expelled” from school.

------------------------------------

I love his defiance of authority and the fact that he ATE the rest of the joint so the police could not arrest him for possession. :spray:

BIG BRASS BALLS award goes to this guy. :smoke:

5. Yes, and with an "horrid" 3.7 GPA, I bet when he returns he'll be under Double Secret Probation?

2. Brave guy.
He certainly made his point. I hope they let him back in school.

Much respect dude.

BTW, how can a pot smoker have a 3.7 gpa? Impossible, because the TV tells us that it makes you dumb.

I don't think prohibition will last very much longer.

6. Well, smoking is banned in public buildings, so even if it were legal
he's still be breaking the rules. :)

Good for him, though.
