Glad They've Thought This Through
06.17.09 -- 12:49PM
By Josh Marshall

From Roll Call ...

House Republicans presented a four-page outline of their health care reform plan Wednesday but said they didn't know yet how much it would cost, how they would pay for it and how many of the nearly 50 million Americans without insurance would be covered by it.

3. Are we sure it isn't their budget plan with a new cover?
They are such idiots.

4. Isn't that what they did with their "budget" earlier this year?
I seem to remember when they proposed their budget, they promised they would unveil the numbers the following week. Did they ever unveil their budget numbers? Or is this becoming a trend?

6. Yes, they presented a budget with no numbers. They did
follow-up on that with something equally lame that was laughed at iirc.

They are creating a trend because they're just so full of new and striking ideas!

7. Another example of the irrelevancy and total road to...
utter obscurity the repubs have been reduced to.

I guess I must be a bitter person, because I'm enjoying every minute of watching their downward spiral daily on the msm.

8. But they did it in 4 pages, so its efficient government
Its small government at its best; they'll let the lobbyists write the details and it will all come out just fine.

/sarcasm

10. This pisses me off
Not because the GOP is so lame, that we already knew, but because our party (with the majority) is unable to pass meaningful reforms because it might hurt the feelings of the lame GOP.

Which party is the lamest?

11. I am sensing that the 'plan' involves tax credits
Tax credits that are NOT refundable, and thus only available for families making over $40,000.

That's just a guess.

14. Morons.
Isn't this exactly what they were lambasting Obama for?

It's probably four pieces of construction paper with crayon writing on it:

1) MAKE INSHERINS LESS ASPENSIV
2) MAKE MORE PEEPEL INSHERD
3) YELL AT DEMMYCRATS
4) PROFIT

15. Well! That sure showed 'em
Four pages and that whole health care reform thingie is knocked into a cocked hat! And all you libruls thought it would take some in-depth effort.

I'll bet if they used a font smaller than 28pt, they could have gotten it down to three pages.
