a right wing radio gig is easy money. Ya have the built in lemming base of listeners. And I also strongly believe that without right wing radio (sans the fairness doctrine) the hosts of such shows would be mostly unemployable. They value ignorance and have no discernable marketable skills except in the market of mendacity and misinformation. I love it when they spew on about market forces.
29. I'd agree on some level...but not completely unemployable.
Low level sport casting (Rush failed at that) or similar jobs that don't require them to do much but open their mouths and use their voices on reporting on fluff would fit most of them.
That or jizz moppers. You know...the guys who clean up the peep show booths after the clientele are "done with them."
limbaugh has failed at everything he has attempted. He wasn't successful until ray-gun did away with the fairness doctrine, and one could argue that right wing radio walked through the crack provided by said doctrine then the mediocre actor cemented it shut.
The right wing cast of characters would make a bigger mess with the mop.

and poorer news reporting allowed him to shuffle his ass in disguise of a "news source" in addition to the scrapping of the "Fairness Doctrine". Of course he never will claim to be a "reporter" or a "news source"....but I'll tell you as a midwesterner.
When you're in the middle of BFE in the boonies and there isn't a real town for miles...Rush and Jesus radio are your connection to the outside.
