This just gets better and better. Now it turns out that the tracing device on his state car parked at the airport was found disabled. This is a no no.

What I don't get is why it was at the Columbia, SC airport and how did he get to Atlanta (if he didn't take a connecting flight there)...

Hmmm...

3. The only two explanations there are would be
1. He had an accomplice that followed him to the Columbia airport and then took him to Atlanta or

2. He took a connecting flight to Atlanta. That would involve a LOT of risk that he would be identified.

I read that he was identified by a passenger on his flight back from B.A. who called the newspaper in Columbia and tipped them off, which is how the reporter knew which flight to wait for...

6. As I understand it, his vehicle was at the SC airport
and a state vehicle was found at the Atlanta airport.

This just gets curiouser and curiouser.

The guy doesn't belong in that job, that's for sure.

5. All the more reason why he should have formally left someone in charge.
Apparently, there's a law about that!

7. Why didn't this cheap asshole take a cab to the airport?
I don't think you disable something like that for just one trip. And how in the hell did he learn to disable the device in the first place? Sounds like he has had a lot of practice doing this type of thing.

8. In the article someone said he didn't think Sanford knew how to operate
the device. He could have had help...or maybe he looked it up in the auto's manual...can that be done?
