7. Yes, she's still hot. I used to defend her around here against the Mika haters. Used to.

But in the last year, she's been getting more and more giggly and dumb-flirty on air. She might be a great news reader, but as they put her more in the group discussion coffeechat position, she started evolving these bubblehead mannerisms. She doesn't just dumb herself out--she actually seems to encourage "the boys" to be more and more incorrigible too.

Always seems to be searching for divisive points to keep the catlike traits at the forefront...a self serving nit picky gossip. I'm not saying this well. I've belonged to several women's groups and there is always one or two that right before a vote has to throw in one last caveat which is rarely based on fact but rather emotion.

I agree with you she does set women back. Although, I think the setback is more than thirty years; more like to the mid 60's.

She adds nothing to the dialogue on that awful show, except more ignorance, and has been suffering from Stockholm Syndrome ever since Scar intimidated her on her first day.

6. Mika Brzezinski for a long time was a total professional on air. In the last year, however...

... she's fallen more and more into "pretty girl" syndrome--the tendency of an attractive woman to quit thinking and starting drawing attention to herself, mostly by being flirty or faux-outraged. I used to love that show, but now she's all "Oh, you guys *giggle, giggle* you stop being so terrible."

The worst I've seen lately when she got on this tear about what a great idea it'd be (and I am not making this up) for the army to ban smoking, even in war zones because it's bad for the young soldiers' health. I'm the biggest anti-smoking nazi there is, but even I don't think it's much of a danger compared to, say, RPGs.

One could see his seething anger at a woman who dared show him up by using her brain. Then, WTF happened? He finally got so annoyed at some woman trying to act all equal and everything, not showing him the deference he KNOWS he deserves by virtue of gender and pigment? Did he tell her that was what his ol intern did, ONCE upon a time? What triggered it? MSNBC tell her to dumb down and bimbo up?

Mika should be ashamed of herself. Cashing a check must be more important to her. Isn't there a term for women who will 'be anything' some man wants, for money?
