Dosing cats is not for the faint-of-heart. We used to have a diabetic cat that required daily injections. We thought we were pretty good at it, and one day Victoria grabbed Mr. catnapper in a half-nelson and he injected his own hand.

48. We had a diabetic kitty, Old Willie. Willie took his insulin like a champ, he just sat there and

purred through the whole process. He was the most mellow old kitty. So sorry about Vicky. :( I stuck myself many times, but it was never Willie's fault. Kudos to Mr. catnapper for administering meds, Mr. smokey leaves that up to me.

aww, not a good day for little Pumpkin.

We have some arthritis in her knee and ankle, we have beginning kidney failure, and there's a nodule on her thyroid, but that blood will take a couple of days to come back. She can't really take the anti-inflammatory drugs he gave me for her arthritis, except for 1 or 2 doses because of the kidneys. So we'll do xray and perhaps glucosamine (sp?) for the pain. We'll have to try a new diet of the crappy wet food that no cat on earth likes.

she was soooo good today in the vet's office. My heart is just broken for her. But she should last a long time with some extra care. :-(
