1. Supposedly in remission
Unless something serious happens in connection to it (God forbid), I think he's still leaning towards running.

3. Of course we feel bad for him
And of course the repukes will see no reason why he shouldn't run, though Edwards, according to them, should drop out immediately.

4. I've thought for some time he didn't look in good health -- and this
comes from a man just one year his junior.

5. Not to worry. Well, I'm sure if it flares up again, he'll get the best health care.
Republicans can afford it.

Anyone else who comes down lymphoma and isn't rich deserves to die, I guess.

7. he's out of the running, that's what it does to his white house run.
he won't be a candidate.

looks like the reich-wing will need to get used to the idea of mitt fudd, drag-queen rudy, or brother jeb...

we might stand a chance after all.

even if I don't agree with his politics. My best wishes and prayers go out to him and his family.

11. I agree. I love his acting.
He did a great job with that small part he had in Hunt for Red October!

My thoughts are with him and his family.

12. I like Fred Thompson

He does a good job on Law and Order (though mostly just as conservative counter point to whatever is happening), and he's had a few good parts in movies. I can't say I agree with his politics but he's certainly entitled to his beliefs. I am surprised though that some Republicans would see cancer as a big issue when running, though, for Democrats, and not Republicans. It should be an issue, especially if he has it. I'm not an expert but I don't think he's out of the woods just because he's been in remission for two years.
