Geo.Steppanop' SLAPS DOWN Grinch: "IT'S NOT IN THE BILL!1"
Edited on Sun Aug-09-09 09:00 AM by UTUSN
He posted the PALIN "Death Panels" quote for GINGRICH to respond to, and the GRINCH started yapping in agreement with it, and STEPPI cold cocked him, "IT'S NOT IN THE BILL. Let me TELL you what's in the bill, THEN you can respond." Then the Grinch said that these teachings or somesuch are the gist of Zeke EMMANUEL's advice to the President as "the chief health advisor," and Steppi said, "He is NOT the chief health advisor. He wrote exactly THREE articles back in (years ago) that mentioned CHOICES in end of life issues."

The Grinch was stunned speechless for an instant!1 Yaas, this uber leader of the Wingnuts was STOPPED in his LIES!1

1. that's good
I missed the Newt/Dean interviews, but saw part of the round table and was disgusted and turned it off.

4. I left after seeing some of that too. The part I saw was people
agreeing that Americans were angry about health care and so on
Have to say republicans whether in the majority or minority they get their message out better.

Their messages are usually lies while ours is usually truth...for all the good it does. Media is a big part of that

Now MTP is doing health care meetings...and using the worst polls of course.

8. The Repuke message always seems easier to sell
Be afraid
Obama is a socialist
Obama wants to kill old people
Obama wants to put a government bureaucrat between you and your doctor
Obama is going to raise your taxes

Those are a lot more succinct ideas than putting forward a genuine plan to fix the health insurance/care industry.

14. When peddling fear, nothing less matters...
Only WE can keep you safe, despite the fact that our track record in EVERY area speaks truth to that lie on every level!

If this country is dumb enough to be led down that path one more time, then the world will be a better place when the USA is bankrupt and a 3rd world nation - provided of course that some of the adults can secure the nuclear arsenal before those infected most virulently with "teh stoopid" get their hands on launch codes...

9. the makeup of the roundtable always tips me off
It's like, ok...we have two RW hacks, Peggy Noonan and Matthew Dowd. Cokie Roberts and Sam Donaldson who um...is This Week trying to tell me that they are liberal? Cokie definitely is not, saw her talking about all the "concerns" people have, and she always belittles "the left". And Richard Haass talking about how uneasy people are with all of this "spending". Ok....

16. Cokie outted herself after 9/11
Edited on Sun Aug-09-09 10:09 AM by Stephanie
She was on Letterman and she said, "And President Bush's approval number is at 80%!", then she turned to the audience and forced them to applaud.

2. Newt...
Born in military hospital. Publicly-funded healthcare his entire childhood (he was a army brat). After college, received publicly funded healthcare first as a professor and then as a member of Congress.

Doesn't want anybody else to get the same benefits.

Prick.

5. Should Grinch become part of the ticket in 2012, what you wrote
needs to be on every other protest sign when he speaks of cutting program and benefits. Hang on to this post. I'm bookmarking.

7. I didn't know that. Every F***ing commentator should have to declare all his
own benefits, this kind of background, and income from stakeholder industries before being allowed to SPOUT!1 Thank you for that.

6. The media is NOT our friend especially ABC. They will do everything to protect
their advertisers, and one statement setting the record straight will be lost in the other misrepresentations they constantly spew

Just like the media was complicit in the deaths of hundreds of thousands of people in a war based on a lie, they are working to insure the same with either the demise of a healthcare plan, or a very weak one

Of course, the Democrats are extremely weak in presenting the truth, which is quite sad

10. Thanks for the report, I sent him this message
"I never watch your show (except for the clips of Krugman smacking Will around--love those).

But I'm going to watch this week because an east coast viewer said you actually fought back against the grinch. And did some show prep."

(it's actually questions for the guests, but somebody there will read it).

12. I guess David Gregory repeated the Palin crap without refuting it. I hope This Week kicks MTP's ass
again this Sunday. Gregory is a disgrace.
