1. I dunno. I voted Wall Street but . . .
are they being corrupt if they are being paid to be corrupt?

Wall Street exists solely to take your money and make it theirs. And I don't think that they try to hide the fact.

Otherwise I would have voted religious, because they are especially damaging in that they are supposed to be helping the vulnerable, but instead they prey on them.

2. Wall Street by far.
Corruption seeks reward. There is no reward in public ed or a lot of those other things. There's plenty of reward for the unscrupulous on wall street.

9. Well, you have a point there.
Maybe I should vote twice - because I don't see a hill of beans difference between them. Ugh.

3. It certainly isn't all a similar percentage
No way does the school system have a similar percentage of corruption as Wall Street or religion. I wonder who voted that way.

6. Agreed.
Also personal experience.

Corporate lawyers are in there somewhere, too. I've worked for a couple of those.

7. It depends what you mean by "corrupt"
A Wall Street banker maximizing profits is not corrupt. An elected official trading favors with said banker is.

10. By Wall Street are you specifically talking about the Investment Banking profession?
Or are you talking about bank tellers who work for Citi?

11. Insurance
I have never had such issues with any other type of business as I've had dealing with insurance.

Automotive, health, rental, it doesn't matter.

14. Picked Wall Street, but the percentages are very high in several of your categories.
Combining police and fire departments was a mistake, too.
