Bill Maher was right. This is a stupid country
This country is going crazy thanks to the corporate media that allows our most corrupt to spread lies and rumors. Angry mobs are now being urged to bring guns to town hall protests, for god's sake. These morons could probably use adequate health care for the psych benefits.

I do not believe for one minute that those who advocate for health care for our most vulnerable are starting the violence.

Remember when the GOP minions were flown in to Florida to stop the Bush/Gore recount? These same evil operatives are working to stop decent health care for Americans and disrupt the meetings. sheesh.

And how do people like Glenn Beck get airtime to suggest that "his effigy of the Speaker of the House should drink a deadly cocktail of wine and poison that he personally prepared." There are crazy crazy people who listen to him. Shep Smith even said on Faux News that his emails were despicable and hateful. The desperate GOP operatives are inciting violence. This is not a tenet of free speech, people.

And check this out: "Union officials continued to receive a barrage of threats on Friday evening and into Saturday punctuated by warnings that if organizers were sent to counter-demonstrate at health care town halls they would be met with violence." Read this. Jebus. What happened to good old protests with signs and chanting?

"I will be going to a local town hall this weekend, all you union members BEWARE!" an emailer wrote at 9:40 Saturday morning. "We will be waiting for you. better make sure you have arrangements with your local ER. today is the day when the goon meets the gun. see you there."

Is this the wild west? A relatively small percentage of the populace is disrupting progress and getting away with it!

2. Americans will soon learn to Stand Firm against the Political TERRORISTS who storm TH Meetings
Rude and Crude Behavior during Town Meetings is UNAMERICAN and an insult to citizens who wish to speak their concerns.

America is watching Brown Shirt Terrorists posing as GOP spread their crap....many are revulsed as the GOP is showing signs of

using Nazi Techniques from Germany 1930's....

This is what happens when peeps don't know History...they tend to repeat....

3. It is easy to sway the masses. People don't want to feel like they are left
out, so they go with the crowd. It takes on a life of its own. The powers that be count on it.

This is why there is no public health care. No free education of our kids if they have the grades to support higher education. Things normal people would embrace for the betterment of society.

7. The Treasury has been piped away from education...
...and into the pockets of the rich old white men who program our televisions. We will do literally anything for the ones who tell us that we don't have to think.

8. I got the same sorts of threats in 2000 helping organize election protests
Usually these are just members of the 101st Fighting Keyboarders... but it only takes one idiot who didn't get the memo that's it's supposed to be bluster only and show up with a gun for this to get incredibly ugly

9. They are stirring them crazy. Or crazier.
Remember how we were freaking out over the number of prison compounds that were being built? Now they have it in their heads that we're going to go after them. And, they're shocked, SHOCKED that they have to be careful about what they say because it can get them in trouble -- and shocked that their right-wing radio favorites aren't even allowed to say things that could lead to a riot.
