Is the right-wing overplaying the Missouri disruption to take away from Sibel's testimony?
I saw the video of the Missouri disruption and I can't help recognizing the makings of an intentional confrontation. I've seen it used several times in my community to try to rally public opinion for a cause. Not with that kind of violence, but people here seem to understand how to win over public opinion by having a martyr provoke a situation where they end up getting roughed up a bit, at least verbally.

So, I was wondering, did this Missouri thing just happen to be the news of the day and the right-wing bloggers took it and ran with it to take away media time from Sibel's testimony?

4. How is that possible?
Why aren't liberal guest speakers who venture into right-wing territory bringing it up themselves to give it air time?

7. Have you heard one station, m$m or cable, bring her up?
I haven't. There's lots going on, mainly/namely health care reform and the whackadoos trying to thwart it. That's sucking all the oxygen out of the room.

9. They're "sucking all the oxygen out of the room."
It looks like their evil plan is working.

10. Don't be silly.
When somebody is throwing everything but the kitchen sink at you, the only thing that the items coming at you have in common, is that they were the nearest things for your opponent to get a hold of.

6. No.
Absolutely nothing interesting could happen for weeks and the name Sibel Edmonds would not escape a single newscaster's lips.

8. The wingers aren't smart enough to think up that kind of diversion.
So, no.
