Question for DU health care experts re: immediate impact of health care reform

While we know the proposed legislation will not go into effect, if passed, until 2013 I want to know what immediate impact we can expect.

1) Will insurance companies jack prices up to grab up all the profits they can before 2013?

2) Will the insurance companies be proactive and change their business models to reflect the new policies policies put forth in health care reform?

Also, for those of us who purchase our own insurance are there any insurance companies that are better than others as it relates to meeting the customers needs? Also, are their any health insurance companies who have done the right thing and have not funded the astroturfing?
