Now is the time to let Sen. CONrad and his ilk to listen to us.

I left a message for CONrad letting him know that anything less than a public option is unacceptable. I would suggest everybody on DU do the same. But...

1. Be respectful - don't swear but be firm when you express your disappointment.
2. Let him know that you will not support him in the future if he doesn't support the public option.
3. Remind him that he is a Democrat, not Republican-Lite.
4. Remind him that the only way the insurance companies will comply with lower premiums is competing with a public option.

These are just my suggestions and I'm sure I'm leaving out many good arguments for the public option. It's up to every individual on this board to decide how they want to approach CONrad on this.

The point of this is to inundate his office with so much disappointment that he will be forced to address his stance.

If not now then never.

Oh, direct this to every Dem Senator who has yet to support a public option.
