Anybody seen the "National Debt Road Trip" ?
I won't bother to give you a URL ... It basically is a guy comparing the growth of the debt to a road trip. He shows the speed increasing on this road trip under the Obama administration.

A buddy sent it to me because there's nothing on snopes to debunk it.

I know Obama inherited the huge debt, but his point is that Obama is going to speed up the growth. I can offer the usual.... at least Obama is going to spend it on something other than the rich and a shitty war, but any of you got any other ideas or a debunk?

1. Show them this.....
How the deficit is set to explode thanks to Bush slow release capsule known as
Medicare Part D, where he conveniently neglected giving the Gov. the power
to negotiate Drug prices. That's the part of Medicare that Pres. Obama
speaks of reforming.

2. Are they bringing that back?
That was a big thing the first few years of the Clinton presidency, too. Until, of course, Clinton's tax increases started turning surpluses. George W. Bush took care of that in a jiffy, emptying the federal treasury into the pockets of his overrich friends. And now that we have a Democrat in the White House again, the Republicans and their stooges have re-discovered the national debt again. It's kind of cute in a way.
