I used to find Mika attractive.
But somewhere down the line, she became a very unattractive person. Her body language almost causes one to grimace. Her facial expressions, mostly in agreement with the right-winger Joe Scarborough, is a real turn-off. I almost feel sorry for her. It's like she lost her soul. She seems to be searching for approval from her master, the right-wing slob sitting next to her. She hangs her head submissively as he shouts her down. For her own well-being, I wish the network could remove her from her misery.

1. Yuck.
I've always disliked pasty, uptight rich girls.

2. OK but only if we also judge Joe, Ed and Keith based on their "attractiveness"
If we only think about female anchors this way - it is pure sexism and refusing to see women as equal.

4. No, I've had it happen real life. Found my self physically attracted to someone
and the more I got to know the person, the uglier he got.

6. The point of the OP seems to have just sailed right over your head
It isn't about an anchor being attractive or not. It's about the OP's personal transformation of how he feels about a particular person's personality and how that changed what he thought of that person initially.

And whether you like it or not almost everyone finds people either attractive or not. The reverse happens too. People will start off feeling someone isn't attractive but ends up finding them attractive. Also based on personality.

8. This is not a case of 'attractiveness' - it is a case of a person being
beaten down, losing her spark.

Like a battered woman.

9. Indeed, beauty is only skin deep...
Sometimes I think, it is only with age, that we are able to see the deeper beauty.
