Take that, Florida.
Last week the Sunshine State tried to reclaim its title as the Nuttiest Place in the Country when the GOP chairman there claimed President Barack Obama's speech to schoolchildren was an attempt to indoctrinate them to socialism — only later to concede that it was a good speech.
But South Carolina found a way to get back on top by squeezing one more embarrassing moment into this Summer of Shame.
Cue Joe Wilson.
Wednesday night, the Midlands congressman yelled 'You lie!' at the president during a nationally televised speech, turning a joint session of Congress into a town hall meeting.
