Huckabee says that if imus has to go then so should...
Republican Presidential candidate Mike Huckabee defended talk-show host Don Imus during a radio interview Friday, saying that if Imus deserves to be fired, several other talk-show hosts do as well.

"I think if Imus is going to get fired, then there are a number of other people who need to go out the door," the former Arkansas governor told Radio Iowa in Des Moines. "Rosie's probably got to go. Bill Maher has to go. Gosh, half of talk radio and television has to go."

Why did he stop there, I didn't hear any republicons' names mentioned...

1. Maher is on a premium channel. He doesn't have to worry about advertisers.

Since HBO is a subscription based service, nobody is forcing you to pay a monthly fee for access to HBO. Huckabee is being partisan and foolish.

2. So people should be fired or political views?
Imus was fired because of an insult, not a political view. Of course, someone like Huckabee probably agrees with Imus and believes calling names is perfectly fine.

some will come after limburger,o'lielly, and savage weiner. I heard some caller on one of the rightwing shows last night sounding like he was almost in tears afraid of the fairness act. He said that olbermann had put him on the worst person in the world.

3. The GOP is afraid of Rosie because she speaks to the common man/woman.
If Rosie's getting people to think, they can't continue to pull the wool over everyones eyes.

12. It's more than just fear. They absolutely loathe her because she
is a lesbian and open about it. And my gawd, she and her partner are raising kids!?!?!?!?!

It wouldn't matter what Rosie had to say, they would turn a deaf ear to her real message and only hear the things that would allow them to hate.

6. Huckabee is a theocratic asshat.
I am starting to regret my support for shitcanning IgnorImus. It would appear that much like an infamously staged nip-slip, this event is being used to organize support for widepsread censorship of controversial speech.

Huckabee is the one who has to go.

9. Then clearly Huckabee should not be president
He clearly does not realize that the citizens own the airwaves (not cable stations) and IMus (like Rush) insult people for their gender and race regularly.
Huckabee doesn't have what it takes to run our country.

P.S. I never heard Bill or Rosie call women Ho's.
