Will we answer with a modern day war hawk as our modern day LBJ?

The records are clear and they are out there. If they support the war, they are DISMISSED. See ya. Wouldn't wanna be ya. Ta Ta. Go away.

This war is no better if innocents are being slaughtered under a Democratic President than under Bushco.. people are equally dead.

Hopefully we also learned our lessons, as Democrats, from the Vietnam war.

If we put a war hawk to answer to us as a Democrat, we will have no one to blame but ourselves.

2. I am cynical

I think many Dems voted "yes" on the war because they knew it would help them politically....now that it is safe they are all bashing it to win our primary. I doubt anyone who voted "yes" on the war will be a real progressive on foreign policy. I think it is wrong to excuse Dems or engage in wishful thinking just because there is a "D" in front of their name.
