(go to link to see how an interviewer on BBC questions a politician....why don't our reporters/interviewers do the same? click on the You Tube video.)

Oliver Willis:

"Our media will respond that they'd lose access to the president (or vice president, or secretary of state) if they asked these questions - but that's bull. The president needs ABC/CBS/NBC practically more than they need him. He needs their platform to sell his or her program. If our leaders can't answer tough questions, we haven't got much of a democracy."

1. By embracing four simple words.
"Ask Follow-Up Questions."

Don't be Russert, who is apparently deathly allergic to follow-ups. He'll ask Cheney a question about Iraq-al Qaeda connections, let the resulting bloviating liegasm from Dick wash over him like a bath of warm milk...and then ask a question about Jesus, or favorite colors, or the cuteness of bunnies. No follow-up from Russert. Ever.

Four words.

2. Our media is corporate controlled
Corporate America and Bush Inc are joined at the hip. They are in it together like good fascists and play us sheeple like a fine violin.
