The National Parks documentary is out of this world

fabulous.
The very concept is revolutionary although they clearly stole Yellowstone from the indigenous people, but watching is therapeutic. I'm lovin' it.
I do not intend to miss one minute of this.

9. yeah, it's splendid.

Wonderful story tonight about John Muir and Teddy Roosevelt ditching the press and the public and sneaking off to go camping in Yosemite high country all by themselves (with a guide and a few park employees). TR complaining that Muir "didn't know his bird songs" ( TR did!!). Muir urging TR to give up his "infantile" urge to hunt animals. TR ecstatic to have been snowed on overnight.

Would have loved to have met both these men.
