6. April is the cruelest month, breeding
Lilacs out of the dead ground, mixing
Memory with desire, stirring
Dull roots with spring rain

Poetry doesn't help much, I know, but Eliot had a point

12. It's hormonal, seriously
two peak times for violent crime: spring (late April to June) then again in Fall (late Sep., Oct., Nov.) It must have something to do with melatonin, serotonin, etc. related to the number of daylight hours (increased agitation for some) and then in fall decreasing sunlight (increasing depression).

13. Oklahoma City was in response to Waco, so it's not surprising they both happened in April - BUT
There has been a connection made between milder weather and violence/crime. Maybe early spring is so "popular" because it's generally the first mild weather after a long, cold winter.

15. You're right
April 19th:

Waco (1993)
OKC Bombing (1995)

April 20th:
Columbine (1999)
Hitler's Birthday (1889) and the inspiration for the Columbine shooters.

...Oh, the only good event that happened during this period were Battles of Lexington and Concord in 1775, the first two battles of the Revolutionary War (those battles, unfortunately, also inspired McVeigh, along with seeking revenge for Waco.)

There are only 12 months, and so many horrible things happen..April is bound to have to claim some of them :(

21. No, there is no good time.Didn't mean to imply there was.
Late winter/early spring is tough on a lot of people, especially some people with mental illnesses for some reason.
