I want two things out of this democratic administration.
AN END TO THESE MINDLESS WARS.

RESPONSIBLE HEALTHCARE REFORM

NOW, WHY WOULD i WANT TO SUPPORT AN ADMINISTRATION THAT IS NOT WILLING OR EVEN TRYING TO GIVE ME EVEN ONE OF THESE?

So, am I supporting the president?

For the time being, BUT TIME IS RUNNING OUT, MY FRIENDS....

6. I agree but what are you gonna do in 2012 when Obama is up against a wacko Republican?
Note vote? Vote Republican? There really is no good answer.

7. I have a feeling a lot of Dems are counting on that lesser of two evils vote
they may end up surprised and angry. Wish it were not so.

9. They're probably relying on that for 2010 too in Congress but at least in Congress we can try to put
progressive candidates up against "blue dog" Dems in the primaries. We can't really do that in 2012 against Obama without making the party the laughingstock of politics.

12. like it said on about page ten in SF Chronicle today
Obama is lukewarm about the public option. And Axelrod said over the weekend that Obama sees no need to eliminate the Anti Trust exemption for the insurers.

Time is running out. We were held hostage all summer by the "concillatory" policy of President Obama as he met with all the RW town hall nuts. And while meeting with them, he couldn't support the public option, but instead said "It is just one of many tools, and will not necessarily be part of the final bill."

The public option might not be the only Tool around.

13. I'd like at least two more things
liberal judges for the Supreme Court and also for appellate courts
reversal of he Bush tax cuts for incomes over $200,000 and also the dividends and capital gains tax breaks undone.

See, that might be 3 things right there, or four or five - it depends on how you define 'Bush tax cuts'.

Actually you have three things too.

1. End to the Iraq war
2. End to the Afghanistan war
3. responsible health care reform (and how many conditions are attached to the word responsible?)

How do you feel about two out of three?
