why should we assume they are not lying about the attic, re: balloon boy hoax

it is more logical to me (not that logic is required in this instance) that hiding the boy in the house, where he is likely to be found in a search rather quickly, would end the hoax too soon.

I think it more likely he was held/hiding in another undisclosed location, and then snuck back into the house and into the attic for later reveal.

I watched the Wife Swap episode. That man is crazy and he has a bad temper. I watched the video he made of his three boys. It is filled with misogyny, homophobia and bad language. Those boys will have problems as they grow up, if they do not have them already.

Yes, there will be more money spent. The resources of the courts and children's services will be used. Let's hope the fines these fools have to pay will cover some of the costs. Let's hope their boys benefit.
